Coaching – Coach Flaherty began his coaching career in 2004 at Bristol Central High School coaching baseball. In 2008 he became the Freshman Baseball Coach at Farmington High School where the team finished 13-7. In 2011 Coach Flaherty led the team to a record of 13-4. Coach Flaherty also has coached girls’ volleyball for the last 2 years at Irving Robbins Middle School. He joined the FHS Football staff for the in 2012 as the Freshmen Wide Receivers and Defensive Backs coach.
College – Graduated from Springfield College in 2004 with his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education. While attending college, Coach Flaherty was recruited to play baseball for the next two years. In 2012, he earned his Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Central Connecticut State University.
High School – Coach Flaherty graduated from Bristol Central High School where he starred in baseball earning All-Conference honors all 4 seasons. He also played Varsity Basketball for BCHS for 4 years.
Personal – Coach Flaherty currently resides in Plainville, CT. He has been the Physical Education and Health teacher at Farmington High School & Irving Robbins Middle School since 2007.
