Coaching – Began his coaching career in 2010 as WR coach at St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol. Coached WR & DB at FHS in 2011 before relocating to Nantucket High School in 2012. Upon landing a teachin position in Farmington, returned to the staff in 2013 again working with the WR. Now runs the offense for the JV team.

 

College – Coach Leahy graduated from Springfield University in 2010 with a B.S. in Physical Education and Health Studies. During his Freshman and Sophomore years at  Springfield he played WR for the Pride in 2006-7.

 

High School – Graduated from Southington High in 2006 where he was a member of the 2005 LL State Championship Team. Coach Leahy was twice selected All-Conference and All-Herald as well as being voted a two time honorable mention All-State WR and a two-time 3rd team All–New Haven Register WR.

 

Personal – Currently resides in Newington and teaches Wellness at IAR and Farmington High School.
